John has exhibited his paintings throughout Cornwall including St.
Ives, St. Agnes, Perranporth and St Just-in-Penwith. His paintings are held in
private collections in the UK.
"To me a painting is nothing if it hasn't
got a little bit of inexplicable magic. It's the alchemy part of it that
appeals."

Les
is well known for the way his historical maritime paintings bring the past back
to life. He is also well known for his stunning modern paintings. His paintings
are held in several private collections and he undertakes many
commissions including those for the Royal
Navy.
"I usually work out of doors making sketches and taking
photographs for reference. I also use the libraries to research the history of
the period and find out as much as I can."
